The rules for using schankroofing.com and for the text messages we send if you ask us to. Plain terms, because you should not need a lawyer to book a roof inspection.
Schank Roofing, 1113 E Overland, Scottsbluff, Nebraska 69361, Nebraska Contractor Registration 30526-25. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Schank Roofing, and "you" means whoever is using this website or receiving our messages.
Using this site, sending us a form or agreeing to receive our text messages means you accept these terms. If you do not, the phone still works: (308) 632-6156.
Use the site to learn about the work we do and to ask us to come and look at a roof. Do not use it to break the law, to send automated submissions, to probe or overload it, or to copy it wholesale.
We may change or take down any part of the site at any time, including prices, examples of past work and the pages describing our services.
Sending a form is a request for a visit. It is not a contract and it does not commit either of us to anything. We will call you back during business hours to arrange a time.
Costs quoted anywhere on this site are ranges, for orientation. The only number that binds us is the one on a written proposal for your property, signed by both sides. That proposal, not this website, is the agreement for the work.
A photo report describes what we found on the day we were there, and grades each finding Good, Watch or Fix Now. It is our professional opinion, not a warranty, and a roof can change after a storm we were not there for.
Schank Roofing runs a text messaging program for customers who ask for it. Taking part is entirely optional.
The program, in full
Opting out of texts does not cancel your job, and it does not stop us calling or emailing you about it. If you change your number, tell us, so a message about your roof does not go to a stranger.
Texts are not the way to reach us in a hurry. If water is coming into your house, call (308) 632-6156.
When you send us a form, you are asking us to get in touch, so we will call and email you about that request whether or not you agreed to texts. If you would rather we used only one of them, say so and we will.
The text, layout, logo and photographs on this site belong to Schank Roofing or are used with permission. Do not copy them for your own business.
Photographs we take of your roof belong to us, and we use them for your report, your job file and, sometimes, to show the work on this site or on social media. We show the city and the type of job, never the street address. If you would rather your property was not shown at all, tell us and it will not be.
Some pages link to other companies, such as a manufacturer, our Google Business Profile or a review site. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for what is on them.
We keep this site accurate, but it is a website about roofing, not an inspection of your roof. Nothing on it is a promise about the condition of any particular property, and no page here replaces someone standing on your roof and looking at it.
The site is provided as it is. To the extent Nebraska law allows, we are not liable for loss caused by using the site, by a message that arrived late or not at all, or by relying on general information here instead of getting your own property looked at.
This section is about the website. It does not limit any written warranty, guarantee or proposal we have given you for actual work on your property. Those stand on their own terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, and any dispute belongs in the courts of Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska.
We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top of this page changes with them. If the text message program itself changes, we will change this page before we change the messages.
