Insurance claims · Guidance, not promises
How a hail claim works, explained by someone who isn't your insurer.
We document the damage and explain the process. Your insurer decides the claim, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something.
Photo documentation · Plain language · No claim promises
Start to finish
What actually happens after the hail
Most people have never filed a roof claim and are being asked to make decisions fast. Here is the shape of it, so nothing on your street surprises you.
Get it documented
Before anything else, have the roof photographed properly. Hail bruising is chalked so it shows in a picture, and the date matters. This costs you nothing and it is the record everything later depends on.
You file with your insurer
The policyholder files the claim. You can hand them our photographs and measurements, and most people do. We cannot file it for you, and a contractor who offers to is crossing a line Nebraska takes seriously.
The adjuster comes out
Your insurer sends someone to look. We will meet them on the roof if you want, and point out what we found. They make the assessment. We do not negotiate it, and we do not argue it on your behalf.
You decide what happens
Approved or not, it is your roof and your call. If the work goes ahead we schedule it like any other job. If the claim does not go your way, the photo report is still yours and still useful.
Worth being blunt about
What we do, and what we will not do
Roofing after a storm attracts people who make promises they are not allowed to make. Here is the line, in plain terms.
We document and explain
Photographs, measurements, a written report, and a plain-language walk through what you are looking at. We will meet your adjuster on site and show them what we found.
We do not handle your claim
We do not file it, negotiate it, or stand in for a licensed public adjuster. That is regulated work in Nebraska and we are roofers. Anyone promising to "handle the insurance company for you" is telling you something they should not.
We do not touch your deductible
We will not waive it, absorb it, rebate it, or pad an estimate to make it disappear. That is illegal for a Nebraska contractor, and a company willing to do it for you is a company willing to do worse to you.
